Hap Seng Land Sdn Bhd celebrated Menara Hap Seng 3’s construction’s milestone by hosting a “Menara Hap Seng 3 Topping Out Ceremony” at its project site, recently. The project will be expected to complete on-time, by end of this year and shall be able to operate by the first quarter of year 2020. 

The site of Menara Hap Seng 3 was previously occupied by our Hap Seng Group’s first built-to-suit Hap Seng Star Mercedes-Benz Showroom in West Malaysia, which has become a landmark building at the intersection of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan P.Ramlee. It has also crafted a strong branding to Hap Seng Group as a whole in the Klang Valley.

Strategically located in the Kuala Lumpur City Centre at the intersection of the protocol roads of Jalan Sultan Ismail and Jalan P.Ramlee, Menara Hap Seng 3 will eventually form part of the Kuala Lumpur’s beautiful skylines in view of its close vicinity to major landmarks, such as the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. Apart from that, it is also easily accessible by public transportation via two (2) monorail stations i.e. Bukit Nanas & Raja Chulan stations and two (2) LRT stations i.e. Dang Wangi & KLCC stations. Some amenities are also available nearby the building, such as hotels, banks, shopping galleries, F&B outlets & Fitness Centers, which has given the best experience to the users.

Menara Hap Seng 3 will be Hap Seng Group’s next flagship office development that will certainly create a new benchmark not only to our group but to the overall office development within the city center. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), a world-renowned American architecture firm, has been appointed to design Menara Hap Seng 3. This has successfully made Menara Hap Seng 3 an aesthetical and functional commercial building that also meet top-notch industry standards with compliance of Grade-A office building, GBI certification, LEED Gold Certification and MSC zone.

As part of the consistent efforts of Hap Seng Group in promoting green initiatives throughout our developments, we are incorporating an approximately 90-metre high indoor vertical green wall within the internal atriums of the building that brings in indirect natural daylight to illuminate the internal spaces of the offices and also to provide good visual comfort towards green for all the occupants at every floor. This unique feature will set this project further above than other conventional office developments within the city center.

Menara Hap Seng 3 will also complete the series of our Menara Hap Seng commercial buildings, stretching from Jalan Sultan Ismail right up to Jalan Tengah along Jalan P Ramlee. The connecting link bridges are strategically placed and superbly connected within these three buildings that form an iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur City Centre with the name of Plaza Hap Seng under the approval of DBKL.

Among the greatest challenges of the project will be the tight site and heavy traffic during the day. In order to ensure timely completion with high quality of work, we have adopted the full top-down construction method in order to speed up the construction work. With the intricacies of the construction, we have also engaged a professional Project Management Consultant (PMC) to assist us in managing and overseeing the whole processes. Upon completion, we do believe that the development will certainly set a new benchmark in the construction industry.

The completion of Plaza Hap Seng as a whole will further assert our commitment and strong presence as a reputable property developer. Thus, Plaza Hap Seng will become an iconic landmark in the city centre.
