08.08.08 is a very special day as the date signifies prosperity, fortune and good tidings. The day also marked a special moment for the MegaHarta’s family as 08.08.08 was the day we celebrated the official opening of our Ampang branch.

The highly auspicious day was specially selected as we wanted to make this “once-in-a –lifetime” date all the more special and memorable since it was also the opening day of the much-awaited Beijing Olympic Games.

Two weeks before the auspicious day, there had been a flurry of activities ranging from office decoration, food catering, guests invitation, ordering of cake and details of the opening ceremony.

On the triple prosperity day, some of the guests started to arrive as early as 11.00am. They mingled and networked with each other while waiting for their turn to savor the culinary delights prepared by Spices Restaurant & Catering (M) Sdn Bhd. at around noon.

Our principal, Mr Clement Ong arrived shortly after the food fair lunch was served. Then he was invited to deliver a short speech and officiate the opening by activating a “Star
War” like slide show depicting members of the Ampang team and their vision.

Subsequently, Mr Ong cut the blue ribbon suspended on the MegaHarta’s logo and a brownie cake with the triple prosperity 08.08.08.followed by a group photo session with the Ampang team.
